The Haimooo C9 is a fingertip-operated joystick with automatic spring return and non-contacting Hall effect technology for high reliability and long service life. An optional third axis supplies an analog Z output, and up to two buttons or a rocker switch can be added to the grip.

What does a third axis add to a fingertip stick?

For a PTZ camera keyboard or a robot teaching pendant, the Z axis gives zoom or a third degree of freedom without a second control. The C9 outputs the extra axis as an analog voltage, with the output range selectable to match the host.
