The Mitsubishi ALPHA2 series is a cost-effective, all-in-one compact PLC designed for simple industrial automation applications. It integrates power supply, CPU, digital/analog I/O, and a built-in HMI display in a single compact unit, eliminating the need for separate components and reducing system cost and complexity.

The ALPHA2 is available in three base models with 10, 14, or 24 integrated I/O points. DC-powered models feature 6 or 8 configurable analog inputs (0-10V DC), providing additional flexibility for process control applications. The system can be expanded with up to one I/O extension module, supporting a maximum of 28 total I/O points.

The controller supports function block programming, which is easy to learn and use for both beginners and experienced programmers. The built-in 4-line LCD display allows for local monitoring and parameter adjustment without the need for a separate HMI. The unit operates on a wide range of power supplies (100-240V AC or 24V DC) and withstands an extreme temperature range of -25°C to +55°C, making it suitable for a variety of industrial environments.

The ALPHA2 mounts directly on 35mm DIN rails or can be surface mounted. Typical applications include lighting control, HVAC systems, pump and valve management, packaging machines, and small process control systems.
