Counting and flow-wrapping machines fill bags; the AV100 is the step that turns those bags into shippable boxes. The two-axis Cartesian frame spans 600 mm vertically and 600 mm horizontally on a fastener column, picking products up to 3 kg with a head that swaps between grippers and a three-cup suction plate as the product dictates - screws in bags, hinge sets, cupped components, whatever the line upstream produced.

Why a dedicated box-loading robot?

Because insertion is its own discipline: bag dimensions up to 400 x 400 x 200 mm must enter cartons square, at 30 picks per minute, without dragging a corner that would jam the case packer downstream. The AV100 mounts the head on an adjustable plate, guards the whole envelope with accident-prevention fencing, and keeps the electrical cabinet separate from the washdown-prone product zone.

Standalone cell or part of an Imanpack line?

Native to the line: Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLC hardware runs under the Imanpack operator interface, FESTO pneumatics drive the grippers, and the CAESAR software platform manages the whole packaging line from one PC or tablet. Against retrofitting a general-purpose robot arm, the AV100 arrives as a CE-built package with column, guards and cabinet sized for exactly this duty, from the same Italian factory in Schio that builds the counting and wrapping machines feeding it.
