Product Description
The ESERA-Station 200 is a hybrid IoT automation controller that integrates a 1-Wire sensor gateway with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 Linux embedded computer (Raspberry Pi-based) on a single DIN rail module. It provides two digital inputs, two 16A relay outputs, and a powered 1-Wire bus for direct connection of temperature, humidity, and environmental sensors — all manageable through IP-Symcon, CODESYS 3, Node-RED, OpenHAB, or FHEM.
What communication and expansion options does the Station 200 offer?
The base unit includes Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.2, and three external USB 2.0 ports. An internal expansion slot accepts optional modules: an electrically isolated RS-485 interface for Modbus RTU, DMX lighting control, and M-Bus; an S0 pulse counter module; and an analog I/O module. Protocol support spans Modbus TCP/RTU with automatic ASCII/RTU detection, 1-Wire, and — via additional gateways — KNX, EnOcean, HomeMatic, Z-Wave, Zigbee, PROFINET, EtherCAT, CANopen, and EtherNet/IP through the CODESYS runtime. The microSD card provides 8 GB of storage with the Linux Debian (Raspbian) operating system pre-installed.
How is the Station 200 configured and deployed?
Configuration uses the ESERA Config-Tool 3 for 1-Wire sensor setup and Auto-E-Connect for automatic chip recognition. For automation logic, users can choose between the graphical Node-RED editor (browser-based, no installation), CODESYS 3.x for IEC 61131-3 PLC programming, or direct C/C++ development on the Linux platform. The controller consumes 3.4–38 W depending on CPU load and 1-Wire bus draw, operating from -10°C to +55°C at 10–92% RH non-condensing in an IP20 enclosure measuring just 35 × 90 × 70 mm.
