Electrically identical to the 1AB0 at 7.7 A continuous (15.4 A peak at 200% overload), it provides the same motor control performance in a leaner I/O package. The 1XN FSB enclosure (425 × 240 × 134 mm) is 35 mm shallower than the 1XM FSB, mounting closer to the machine frame with IP65/IP66 protection and natural-convection cooling.

The defining feature of the 1XN variant is its modular electronics platform: the electronics module can be replaced in under 15 minutes without disturbing field wiring — a significant downtime reduction in high-throughput conveyor and logistics systems.
