The SITOP DC UPS 6EP1931-2EC31 steps up to 15A output — 360W of protected 24VDC — while retaining the galvanically isolated RS-232 serial port for PC-based monitoring. 15A Power Platform

With a 22-29VDC input range and 24VDC output at up to 15A continuous (15.7A peak), the module delivers 360W of backed-up power. Efficiency reaches 96.2% in normal operation and 96% on battery — meaning less heat inside the cabinet. The charging current is DIP-switch selectable at 0.35A or 0.7A, halving recharge time compared to the 6A models when the higher setting is used. Short-circuit protection uses dynamic current limiting with automatic restart attempts every 20 seconds.

Serial Diagnostics

The RS-232 interface (9600 baud, 8N1, 9-pin SUB-D) pushes UPS status — BUFRD, ALARM, *BAT*, BA>85, BA<85 — every 84ms. No driver installation is needed. The free SITOP DC UPS Software visualizes trends, logs events, and accepts remote timer-start commands. Three floating relay contacts provide redundant hardwired signaling independent of the serial link.
