The KEP MS-716 is a special version of the SUPERtrol-I flow computer housed in a rugged, vehicle-mount aluminum enclosure. Designed to withstand the rigors of mobile applications, it satisfies the instrument requirements for a variety of flow meter types in liquid applications, such as those found in fuel delivery or chemical injection vehicles.

Despite its rugged packaging, the MS-716 includes the advanced features and multiple flow equations typical of the SUPERtrol-I series. It offers "EZ Setup" for guided configuration and can be used for rate/total indication or as a batch controller with advanced features like overrun compensation, auto batch start, and two-stage batching. It supports Universal Viscosity Curve (UVC) and API equations for hydrocarbon applications.

The MS-716 features menu-selectable hardware and software, with isolated analog and pulse outputs standard. The isolated analog output can be programmed via menu to follow volume flow, corrected volume flow, mass flow, temperature, or density. The standard RS-232 serial port can be used for data logging, transaction printing, or connection to a modem for remote meter reading. An optional RS-485 port is available. The unit also features on-board data logging and is supported by DDE server and HMI software.
