The Isotech Jupiter 4852 dry block calibrator is designed for the calibration of thermocouples and platinum resistance thermometers, featuring fast heating and cooling for convenient field use. With a temperature range of 35°C to 660°C, it provides rapid 20-minute heating and 60-minute cooling times .

The calibrator has a 35mm diameter by 148mm deep calibration volume. The standard insert can hold up to six thermometers simultaneously with holes sized: 2 x 4.5mm, 2 x 6.4mm, 1 x 8.0mm, and 1 x 9.5mm . For flexibility, surface sensor and infrared thermometer accessories can be added, and the Advanced model provides a blackbody source option with ±0.3°C accuracy .

The Jupiter 4852 comes in three models. The Basic model has a digital display of set and nominal temperature. The Site model additionally includes a built-in independent temperature indicator for a reference probe. The Advanced controller features inputs for reference and test thermometers, automatic temperature cycling, secure data logging, and a full color high resolution display . Stability for the Advanced model is ±0.015°C at 100°C and ±0.025°C at 650°C .
