The Honeywell Sensepoint XRL is a fixed point gas detector for flammable or toxic gases that uses Bluetooth to connect with a smartphone or tablet via an app. The app allows remote reconfiguration of settings, alarm set points, test procedures, diagnostic information access, and real-time gas concentration readings, increasing efficiency by enabling calibration report generation and direct sharing from a mobile device.

Bright indicator lights at the center of the unit display five colors to clearly identify conditions: flashing green (normal), flashing red (alarm), green/yellow flashing (warning), flashing yellow (fault), solid yellow (inhibited), and blue for Bluetooth pairing/connection. The XRL is available with mA loop analog or Modbus RTU output, with selectable source or sink current to suit both system configurations. It is housed in an IP66, NEMA 4X enclosure and operates from -40 to 140°F, making it suitable for manufacturing, water treatment, battery charging facilities, and petrochemical plants.
