Built around a Marvell XScale 32-bit 400 MIPS processor, the LT series combines substantial processing power with a comprehensive memory architecture: 64 MB of RAM, 32 MB of FLASH, 8 KB of persistent FRAM, and 1 GB of NAND for mass storage. Each module is housed within an aluminum sheath that provides exceptional immunity to electromagnetic interference, high mechanical resistance, and efficient heat dissipation, ensuring reliable operation in the harshest conditions. The system is designed for flexible installation, mounting on DIN rail, grids, or cabinet frames using brackets, and can be configured with 4 to 30 modules per base.

The LT series offers extensive modularity to meet diverse automation requirements. Digital inputs are available in blocks of 16, 32, or 64 channels, rated at 24V DC with resistive inputs compliant to IEC61131 type P. Digital outputs come in blocks of 8, 16, 24, or 32 static channels, with a nominal current of 350mA per group of 8 outputs. For applications requiring higher switching capacity, relay logic outputs provide free potential contacts with a breaking capacity of 6A and over 30 million operations. Analog I/O is supported in blocks of 8 or 16 channels, with current inputs (±21mA) and voltage inputs (±10V) offering 13-bit resolution plus sign, and analog outputs providing 4-20mA current or -10V to +10V voltage with 11-bit resolution. The LT series can handle up to 960 total I/O channels. Wired-control logical inputs with detection resistors (1 kOhm to 10 kOhm) enable monitoring of sensitive sites by detecting four line states: normally open, normally closed, short-circuited, or cut line, with distances up to 200 meters between sensor and controller.

Communication capabilities are robust and flexible. The LT series provides one or two Ethernet 10/100baseT RJ45 ports (with anti-vibration covers in military versions) and zero to three RS232/RS485 serial connections via SubD 25-pin connectors. The platform includes comprehensive cybersecurity services, including SNMP V3, SSH, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS Server, PAM, Open VPN (Client and Server), Gnu TLS, Open LDAP services, and NTPS client. Programming the LT series is accomplished through two complementary approaches. Engineers can use IEC 61131-3 standard languages—Ladder, Grafcet, and Structured Text—via the Straton workshop from CopaData. For more advanced or specialized applications, the controller supports C language programming with a Software Development Kit under the Eclipse IDE. The LT series is designed to withstand extreme climatic conditions, with an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and tropicalized boards. The system carries IP30 protection and complies with AECTP500 electromagnetic endurance standards.
