Product Description

The Rosemount 225 is a toroidal (inductive) conductivity sensor designed for pharmaceutical and food & beverage applications requiring sanitary design. Its non-contacting measurement principle resists corrosion and fouling, making it ideal for CIP solution concentration monitoring, product/water interface detection, and chromatographic eluent monitoring.

The sensor is available in glass-filled PEEK, unfilled PEEK, or unfilled Tefzel. Unfilled PEEK options meet 3A sanitary/FDA food contact standards or USP Class VI requirements. Measurement range is 200 µS/cm to 2 S/cm with nominal cell constant 2.7/cm. Temperature limits: 230°F (110°C) for glass-filled PEEK and Tefzel; 266°F (130°C) for unfilled PEEK. Pressure rating is 200 psig (1480 kPa abs).

The 2" tri-clamp fitting enables easy in-line installation. Measurement is insensitive to flow rate or direction. Includes 20 ft (6.1 m) integral cable. Compatible with Rosemount analytical instruments. Applications include CIP acid/alkali concentration, rinse water monitoring, and eluent monitoring in pharmaceutical separations.
