The PKP DP01 is a paddle-type flow switch for monitoring the switching point of low-viscosity liquids such as water. It operates on a robust paddle principle: flowing liquid pushes against the paddle, deflecting a pivoting arm. This motion triggers a permanent magnet to switch an adjustable reed contact or microswitch located outside the liquid stream. The restoring force is generated by two repulsive magnets, ensuring excellent long-term stability and high tolerance to pressure peaks.

Installation Requirements

For reliable operation, the flow direction must match the arrow on the switch head. The pipeline must be cleaned before installation, and Teflon tape is used for sealing threaded connections. When soldering copper pipe sections, remove the upper part of the flow switch with the O-ring to avoid overheating.
