Product Description
The AMiT AMR-OP71RH is a freely programmable wall-mounted room temperature regulator designed for building automation and industrial environmental control. As part of the AMREG series of control units, it functions as a peripheral PLC terminal rather than a simple thermostat. Users can create fully customized control screens in the DetStudio development environment, defining touch zones, display layouts, and control logic to match the specific requirements of each building project.
Hardware Variants at a Glance
- AMR-OP71RH: Temperature + humidity sensor. RS-485 communication, touchscreen graphic LCD, platinum-coloured frame.
- AMR-OP71RHC: Adds NDIR CO₂ sensor with acoustic alarm for conference rooms, classrooms, and ventilation-controlled spaces.
- AMR-OP71RHP: Adds Poseidon 868 MHz wireless gateway — directly connects wireless sensors, switches, and actuators without a communication converter.
Programmability & Integration
- DetStudio IDE: All control logic, screen graphics, and communication parameters are developed in DetStudio, AMiT's integrated development environment. No proprietary programming hardware required — deploy via RS-485 or Ethernet.
- Multi-Protocol RS-485: Modbus RTU for standard PLC/SCADA integration; ARION for AMiT native networks; DB-Net/IP for industrial information systems. The controller can coexist with third-party Modbus masters on the same bus.
- Relay Output & External Sensors: Standard RTD/NTC input for external temperature probes, plus relay output to drive a fan coil unit, valve actuator, or ventilation damper directly.
