Product Description
The Lm-therm Ted 105-F is a digital temperature regulator purpose-built for thermal management inside electrical enclosures, switch cabinets, and machinery control panels. It directly switches enclosure heaters, cooling fans, or Peltier cooling devices to prevent condensation, frost, and overheating—protecting sensitive electronics without requiring a separate PID controller or PLC integration. The unit replaces conventional electromechanical bulb-and-capillary thermostats with a solid-state digital interface while retaining the same SPDT output topology and wall-mount footprint.
From Electromechanical to Digital — Direct Replacement
- Same SPDT Output, Same Wiring: The Ted 105-F mimics the changeover contact scheme of a conventional thermostat: terminal C (common) connects to NO (normally-open) on temperature rise and to NC (normally-closed) on temperature fall. Existing heating and cooling circuit wiring can be reused without redesigning the control cabinet layout.

Adjustable Switching Differential — Match Your Cabinet Thermal Inertia
- Configurable Hysteresis (±0.1 to ±2.5 K): The switching differential defines how far the temperature must deviate from the setpoint before the SPDT contact changes state. A narrow differential (±0.1 K) provides tight temperature control for sensitive electronics but increases switching frequency—ideal for small, well-insulated cabinets. A wider differential (±2.5 K) reduces cycling and extends heater/contactor life in larger enclosures with high thermal inertia.

SPDT Changeover: Heat or Cool with One Device
- Single Device, Dual Function: The SPDT contact allows the Ted 105-F to control both a heating device (connected to the NC terminal—active when temperature falls below setpoint) and a cooling fan or Peltier cooler (connected to the NO terminal—active when temperature rises above setpoint) using a single regulator. No additional relays or logic modules are needed.

- Wiring: Screw terminals accept solid or stranded conductors. Three terminals (C, NO, NC) serve the SPDT output; two additional terminals supply the controller with 250 V AC operating voltage.
- Setpoint Setup: After mounting and wiring, the user sets the desired temperature via the front-panel interface. The digital display toggles between setpoint and actual temperature readings, and the switching differential is adjusted via a dedicated configuration mode.
