The SEITRON RKP01M is a wall‑mounted digital climate regulator for residential and commercial underfloor heating systems. It integrates control of a 3‑point motorised mixing valve, a circulation pump, and a single‑stage or two‑stage burner through four pre‑programmed hydraulic schemes (SCH1‑SCH4). The 47 mm‑deep backlit LCD unit replaces separate valve controllers, burner relays, and freeze‑protection thermostats with a single device.

How It Controls — Four Hydraulic Schemes, One Controller

• PI Control for Mixing Valve: In SCH1 and SCH2 modes, the RKP01M applies 3‑point PI regulation to a motorised 3‑way valve. The flow temperature is continuously adjusted according to outdoor temperature (with external probe connected) or outdoor temperature plus ambient feedback, maintaining the supply water at the theoretical setpoint Td and preventing overshoot even under sudden solar gain changes.
• ON/OFF Control for Boiler/Burner: In SCH3 mode (single‑stage flame) and SCH4 mode (two‑stage flame), the regulator uses 2‑point ON/OFF control with the circulation pump operating continuously or optionally only when the burner is active.
• Remote Adjustment and Timer: A remote controller on the ACC RK3 COM line allows the setpoint to be modified by ±5 °C (comfort or economy override) without accessing the main unit. An integrated hourly/weekly timer supports four temperature modes: Comfort (TC), Economy (TR), Anti‑freeze and OFF.

Freeze Protection, Anti‑Condensation, and Anti‑Blocking

• Freeze Protection (TAF): When the system is in OFF or Economy mode and the return water probe detects a temperature approaching freezing, the controller activates the burner and circulation pump to prevent pipe fracture in basement or exterior-wall installations.
• Anti‑Condensation (TAC): If humidity and low return-water temperature indicate condensation risk inside the boiler, a dedicated anti‑condensate pump output activates to circulate warm water to the boiler and prevent thermal-bridge corrosion.
• Anti‑Blocking: The pump is briefly energised after prolonged inactivity to prevent seizure—relevant for seasonal-use heating systems.

Installation, Power & Applications

• Installation: Mounted on a dry wall, 156 × 108 mm controller with 47 mm depth. Terminals accept 1.5 mm² solid/stranded conductors. An optional relay module (ACC RK3) converts live relays to volt‑free contacts when the supplied live relay contacts cannot be accepted by the boiler interface, but the standard on‑board volt‑free SPDT relay (2(1) A) already accommodates most boiler thermostats.
• Power: 230 V AC ±10%, 50/60 Hz, <1.5 VA, directly powered from the boiler/panel supply without a separate transformer.
• Applications: Underfloor heating with 3‑way mixing valve control, radiator circuits with outdoor compensation, gas boiler heating with domestic hot water priority, and small commercial building heating management.
