Product Description
The PhyMetrix PLMa loop powered dew point transmitter has a wide loop voltage range of 5VDC to 28VDC, providing exceptional flexibility for integration into various control systems. The PLMa includes built-in self-test and diagnostics, temperature compensation, and digital I/O for controlling relays. It is also HART interface compliant, enabling digital communication over the 4-20mA loop.
The transmitter features a dew point sensor covering -110 to 20°C with 316 Stainless Steel and PTFE wetted parts for excellent chemical compatibility. Process interface options include 3/4″-16 threads with Viton O-ring as well as 1/4″ NPT threads. The robust industrial M12 connector provides IP68 protection, and the stainless steel IP68 housing ensures reliable operation in harsh environments.
The PLMa displays engineering units including °C and °F dewpoint, ppmV, ppmW, µB H₂O vapor pressure, grams of H₂O per cubic meter, and Lbs H₂O per 10⁶ standard cubic feet in Natural Gas. It interfaces to a variety of PhyMetrix panel meters including DD4 and DD5. Protection from reversed polarity prevents damage during installation. NIST traceable calibration ensures measurement accuracy.
