Michell Instruments Promet EExd Process Moisture Analyzers are hazardous-area rated industrial hygrometer systems for measurement of water vapor content in low and high pressure process gases on natural gas platforms and terminals as well as in petrochemical plants and industrial manufacturing facilities . The Promet EExd is installed directly in the hazardous area, simplifying site installation and retrofits.

The analyzer combines the latest Michell moisture sensing technologies with sample conditioning systems designed to provide a reliable and easy-to-operate, multi-channel, on-line instrument for moisture measurement in flammable gases. It features EExd flameproof certification (IECEx, ATEX, CCSAUS, TC TR Ex) for complete hazardous area installation .

The Promet EExd offers single- or dual-channel measurement of moisture content, dew point, and pressure over a range of -120 to +30°Cdp and 0.001 to 30,000 ppmV. It includes automatic pressure compensated conversions for ppmV, lbs/MMscf, and mg/m³ for natural gas. The instrument is sour gas compatible and includes remote global access options. Calibration is traceable to NPL (UK) and NIST (USA) with field calibration maintenance capability .
