The Isotech Venus 4951 temperature calibrator can be used as a dry block or liquid bath. Accessories are available for converting to a stirred liquid bath, surface sensor calibration, to calibrate infrared thermometers and even to use as an ITS-90 Fixed Point System with calibration uncertainties as small as 0.0005°C. With excellent stability and distributed heating/cooling zones for good uniformity, these calibrators offer proven thermal performance, are easy to use, and available in three models.

The Basic Model features digital display of set and nominal block temperature, use with a separate external indicator to compensate for gradients and loading, Cal Notepad software, and serial PC interface. The Site Model includes a single channel indicator for reference probe, Best Practice calibration with established traceability and uncertainty. The Advanced Model features a three channel indicator for reference probe and units under test, advanced features including automatic temperature cycling and logging, I-Cal Easy LOG software, built-in web server, and Ethernet & USB host PC interface.

All models feature a 35 x 160mm calibration volume with common uniformity specifications: <0.02°C radial and <0.026°C axial in Liquid Bath mode, and <0.008°C radial and <0.040°C axial in Dry Block mode. Heating and cooling times are 15 minutes from -30 to 140°C and 140 to 0°C respectively.
