The 6ES7142-6BR00-0AB0 is a digital output module from the SIMATIC ET 200eco PN family. It provides 8 digital outputs at 2A per channel, 24V DC, through 8×M12 5-pole connectors in a fully encapsulated zinc die-cast housing rated IP65/IP66/IP67. The integrated 2-port PROFINET switch supports line, star, and ring topologies.

How is it different from the M12-L variant?

The -0AB0 is the earlier generation of the 2A ET 200eco PN digital output module. Compared to the M12-L successor (6ES7142-6BR00-0BB0), it offers PROFINET IO only — no EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP support — and its IP67 rating tops out where the M12-L reaches IP69K for high-pressure washdown. Both deliver the same 2A per channel and use the same 8×M12 connector layout.
