The King Instrument 7450 series rotameter is a side plate style meter with 75mm or 150mm borosilicate glass tube and 316L stainless steel or brass connections. The 7450 series rotameter has optional valves available, and the ends are PVC or Hastelloy C-276 construction for greater chemical resistance. The rotameter features internal components using 316L stainless steel. The inlet/outlet fittings are FNPT horizontal and a control valve is optional. Fitting materials are 316L stainless steel or brass, and O-rings are available in Viton, Buna N, EPR, and Kalrez.

The rotameter is available with flow capacities of 0.48 to 7.4GPM for water or 2 to 20SCFM for air. Accuracy is 3% for the 150mm scale and 5% for the 75mm scale. Maximum temperature rating is 200°F (93°C) for both gases and liquids, with maximum pressure limit of 200 psig.

The side plate design with borosilicate glass tube provides excellent visibility of the float position for easy flow indication. The optional control valve allows for manual flow adjustment. The availability of PVC or Hastelloy C-276 ends provides enhanced chemical resistance for corrosive applications. The horizontal FNPT fittings simplify installation in piping systems.
