What the unfiltered configuration means for your installation

Unlike the C2-filtered 1Ax variants, the 1UP0 does not include an integrated EMC filter. An external EMC filter must be added to the cabinet when conducted emission compliance to Category C2 per IEC 61800-3 is required. For installations where the supply network can tolerate unfiltered operation or where a centralized cabinet-level filter is already in place, the unfiltered variant reduces upfront drive cost.

DC terminals: enabling du/dt filter connection

The integrated DC link terminals allow direct connection of a du/dt filter to protect motor windings in applications with long motor cable runs. This is particularly relevant for pump installations where the drive and motor are physically separated — the du/dt filter reduces voltage spikes at the motor terminals that can degrade winding insulation over time.
