The Packo ZS is a hygienic twin-screw pump whose two intermeshing screws keep a constant conveying geometry from inlet to outlet. Because the chamber shape never changes, solids suspended in the product are not squeezed, and flow stays smooth and low-pulsation.

How do I move fruit-laden yogurt without crushing the fruit?

A lobe or gear pump traps product between moving parts and shears it; a centrifugal pump cannot pull thick product at all. The ZS transports the fluid in fixed screw chambers, so whole fruit and nuts reach the filler intact — and a linear conveying characteristic means the flow direction always matches shaft rotation, with no pulsing.

Selectable screw pitches adjust flow, pressure and particle size to the product, and because the pump also runs CIP at high speed, it can drop the separate cleaning pump that most lines would otherwise need.
