When do you need both the panel and the filter option on one drive?

When the same station meets two conditions: staff run the drive on site, and the motor cable runs long. The BOP-2 gives those staff local start and stop, setpoint changes, fault display and acknowledgement; the DC terminals give the du/dt filter its connection for the long cable. Take one condition away and a narrower variant fits - the 1UF0 and 1UP0 keep the DC terminals without the panel, and the 0UB0 keeps the panel without the terminals. Both conditions present, this is the variant.

What does the BOP-2 change for the operator?

The drive becomes serviceable by the people standing next to it. Faults are read and acknowledged at the drive instead of escalating to a laptop, and setpoint changes happen without the commissioning tool. The alternatives serve different moments: the Smart Access Module adds wireless access, the IOP-2 adds a graphical panel, and PC commissioning covers the engineering desk - but for daily operation at a pump station with on-site staff, the mounted BOP-2 keeps the drive in their hands.
