The ifm efector VVB Series Vibration Sensors are intelligent, industrial-grade condition monitoring devices designed to provide continuous machine protection. Available in both 1-axis and 3-axis configurations, these sensors integrate directly into existing control platforms via IO-Link, allowing for real-time monitoring of machine condition without the gaps associated with intermittent walk-around measurements .

The 1-axis version (VVB) offers a wide frequency range of 2 to 10,000 Hz, making it suitable for detecting a broad spectrum of machine faults. The 3-axis version (VVB3) continuously detects vibration in three axes and additionally measures surface temperature, providing comprehensive insight into machine health across a frequency range of 2 to 5,600 Hz.
