Product Description

The AOI Series 2500 is a loop-powered percent oxygen transmitter designed to provide reliable oxygen measurements in a variety of background gases. Housed in a durable NEMA 4 (IP66) watertight polycarbonate enclosure, it is well-suited for demanding industrial environments. The 4-20 mADC output can be directly interfaced with data loggers, recorders, PLCs, or digital control systems.

The Series 2500 features an extended-life oxygen sensor that provides exceptional performance, accuracy, and stability. For applications where carbon dioxide is present in the sample gas, the sensor retards passivation of the sensor anode by allowing the products of oxidation to dissolve in the electrolyte. In effect, the sensor is renewed continuously, resulting in an increase in sensor life even if exposed to 100% carbon dioxide. The enhanced mechanical design ensures longer life and virtually eliminates leakage of electrolyte.

Key specifications include a variety of measurement ranges covering 0-2% up to 0-100% oxygen, ±1% of full scale accuracy, and a 90% of full scale response time of less than 20 seconds. It operates on a 14-32 VDC input power, making it easy to integrate into existing loop-powered systems. Optional equipment includes a sample filter, a pressure regulator, and a flow meter. The electronics carry a 2-year warranty, and the sensor carries a 1-year warranty.
