The AOI Series 3510 is the AC-powered counterpart to the Series 3500 trace oxygen transmitter. It is recommended for applications where AC power is available or preferred. Like its counterpart, it is housed in a durable NEMA 4X (IP66) watertight polycarbonate enclosure, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments. The 4-20 mADC output provides seamless integration with data loggers, recorders, PLCs, or digital control systems .

The Series 3510 utilizes an ambient-temperature electrochemical sensor with an enhanced mechanical design that ensures longer life and virtually eliminates leakage of caustic electrolyte. The sealed sensor is not position-sensitive and does not require manual adjustment based on changes in the molecular weights of sample gases such as helium and hydrogen. The sensor output is linear and temperature-compensated to provide optimum performance. An optional CO2-tolerant trace oxygen sensor is available for applications with up to 100% CO2, without compromising sensor life .

Key specifications include eight selectable measurement ranges from 0-10 ppm up to 0-20,000 ppm, ±1% of full scale accuracy, and a 90% of full scale response time of less than 10 seconds. It offers flexible power input options: 115 VAC/50-60Hz or 24 VDC. The electronics carry a 2-year warranty, and the sensor carries a 1-year warranty .
