The Edgetech RH CAL Portable Relative Humidity Calibrator is a completely self-sufficient calibration system featuring optical chilled mirror technology. Unlike traditional calibrators, it requires no external compressed air or water connection, making it truly portable for on-site calibration applications. The microprocessor-based, programmable system performs NIST-traceable calibrations with exceptional accuracy.

The system offers the highest available accuracy for both relative humidity (±0.5%) and ambient temperature (±0.1°C). Temperature and relative humidity are controlled independently, eliminating the limitation of performing calibrations only at ambient temperature. This independent control enables comprehensive sensor characterization across the full operating range.

Key to its performance is the integral ambient temperature probe and D2 chilled mirror sensor located directly in the sample chamber, providing superior accuracy and the fastest possible response. The Automatic Balance Cycle (ABC) maintains measurement integrity by automatically correcting for mirror contaminants, ensuring long-term stability without frequent maintenance.

The calibrator provides both analog (0-5 VDC or 4-20 mA) and RS232C serial outputs for data acquisition and remote control.
