The Edgetech DPS Series is an integrated dew point measurement system specifically designed for applications requiring measurement of high dew points that exceed ambient temperature. Without the heated system, condensation would occur in the sample lines, making accurate measurement impossible. The system includes a microprocessor-based electronics package, a two- or three-stage chilled mirror dew point sensor, a sample flow meter and valve, a 3-foot heated sample line, and all necessary tubing and fittings—all contained within a heated, temperature-controlled NEMA-4 enclosure.

The heated sensor assembly enables reliable measurement of dew points above ambient temperature by maintaining the entire sample path at a temperature above the expected dew point. The user-programmable temperature controller allows precise adjustment of the enclosure and sample line temperature to match application requirements, with a temperature range of 20 to 99°C (68 to 210°F).

The two- or three-stage chilled mirror sensor provides fundamental, accurate dew point measurement based on the condensation principle. The system offers selectable analog outputs (4-20mA, 0-5VDC, or 0-10VDC) for integration with data acquisition systems. The complete, pre-engineered design simplifies installation in applications such as stack gas monitoring, high-humidity industrial processes, and environmental chambers where condensation prevention is critical.
