The KEP MINItrol-S is a compact ratemeter and totalizer designed for applications requiring dual preset control outputs. The instrument provides a 5-digit ratemeter and two 6-digit totalizers, each with its own 5-digit scaling factor, allowing them to be programmed independently to read in engineering units. The totalizers can count at speeds up to 10 kHz.

Two powerful 5 Amp preset relay outputs are standard. These relays can be user-programmed to be triggered by the "A" total counter or the "A" ratemeter, providing flexible control for batching, alarm, or other on/off control functions. The second relay (B) can also be configured to create a scaled pulse output for driving remote totalizers or other equipment.

The ratemeter is accurate to 4-1/2 digits ±1 digit and can be programmed to accept almost any number of pulses per unit. It can determine rate for slow pulsing signals up to 24 seconds and features auto-ranging up to 5 digits. Display can be scaled to read in units per second, minute, hour, or day. The MINItrol-S features a NEMA 4X / IP65 rated front panel for use in demanding environments and includes a count inhibit input for meter proving applications. Optional inputs include a 30 mV magnetic pickup input, and optional outputs include an analog output and RS-232 communication.
