The KROHNE OPTIFLUX 1000 electromagnetic flow sensor is an economical solution for a wide range of applications including various aqueous solutions, water distribution, wastewater treatment, HVAC, agriculture, and machinery .

The 3x100% diagnostics overcome drawbacks of SIL2-certified equipment by detecting errors unrecognized under SIL2, indicating erroneous results (e.g., from gas bubbles) which SIL2 cannot do, and correcting errors in accuracy and linearity unseen by SIL2. This provides better assurance than normal SIL2 certification .

With just one signal converter and a wide range of flow sensors, the OPTIFLUX 1000 covers applications from simple water measurement to corrosive or abrasive products. Advanced measurement technology delivers reliable performance even at very low conductivity and under rapid pH changes.in measuring technology components, particularly useful for very low conductivity, rapid product changes with pH variations, and pulp measurement .

The meter operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction. Pulsed DC excitation eliminates zero shift problems. Features include Hastelloy electrodes, PFA liner, excellent chemical resistance, and minimum conductivity of 5 µS/cm. Applications include water circulation and treatment in swimming pools, sprinkler irrigation systems, fertilizer distribution, fire fighting systems, and buildings .

The OPTIFLUX 1000 is available in sandwich (wafer) design for easy installation between standard flanges, with diameters from DN10 to DN150. Its compact footprint and maintenance-free operation make it an economical choice for general-purpose flow measurement across a wide range of industries.
