The Wilcoxon Sensing Technologies 797V high performance velocity sensor is designed for long-term, reliable use. It is constructed with 316L stainless steel, and is hermetically sealed. It features a 1/4-28 captive socket head with 0.062" diameter safety wire hole for mounting, and has a MIL-C-5015 2-pin output connector and a R6 type mating connector. The 797V is case isolated, and has 100 mV/in/sec sensitivity and ±10% sensitivity tolerance.

The 797V accelerometer is manufactured in an ISO 9001 facility.

The 797V belongs to Wilcoxon's 797 series (alongside 797, 797L, and 797R). Compared with the 793V velocity sensor, the 797V offers a more compact side-exit form factor for tight installations, while both provide internal velocity integration. Select the 797V for applications where space constraints favor a side-exit sensor, and the 793V for top-exit installations.
