The GF Signet 2551 Magmeter is an insertion style magnetic flow sensor without any moving parts. All versions are constructed of corrosion-resistant materials to provide long-term reliability with minimal maintenance costs. Utilizing the comprehensive line of GF Signet installation fittings, sensor alignment and insertion depth is automatic .

These versatile, easy-to-install sensors deliver repeatable flow measurement over a wide dynamic range in pipe sizes from DN15 to DN300 (0.5 to 12 inches), satisfying diverse application requirements. The 2551 offers three output options: frequency or digital (S³L) sensor output for use with GF Signet instrumentation, and 4-20 mA for direct input to PLCs, chart recorders, etc. Both 4-20 mA and digital S³L interfaces support long distance signal transmission up to 1,000 ft .

The version with built-in display provides permanent and resettable totalization, with multi-language menu options (English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese). Empty pipe detection ensures zero flow output when sensors are not completely wetted. The frequency output is bi-directional, while the 4-20 mA output can be set for uni- or bi-directional flow .
