Simple to install with time-honored reliable performance, the GF Signet 515 Rotor-X paddle wheel flow sensors are highly repeatable and rugged sensors that offer exceptional value with little or no maintenance. The output signal is a sinusoidal frequency capable of driving a self-powered flow monitor such as the GF Signet 8150 Flow Totalizer.

The sensors have a wide dynamic flow range of 0.3 to 6m/s (1 to 20 ft/s), which allows the sensor to measure liquid flow rates in full pipes and can be used in low pressure systems. They are offered in a variety of materials including PP, PVDF, and Tefzel for a wide range of pipe sizes and insertion configurations, making them highly versatile and chemically compatible with many liquid process solutions.

The 515 sensors can be installed in up to DN900 (36 in.) pipes using GF Signet's comprehensive line of custom fittings, including tees, saddles, and weldolets, which set the sensor to the proper insertion depth. Configurations are also available for wet-tap installation requirements. The sensors feature a 20:1 turndown ratio, highly repeatable output, and are CE Approved. The simple, economical design with easy-to-replace rotor ensures long service life. Applications include filtration systems, pure water production, chemical production, liquid delivery systems, pump protection, scrubber systems, and water monitoring. Note: Not suitable for gases.
