The Isotech Calisto 4953 temperature calibrator can be used as a dry block or liquid bath. Accessories are available for surface sensor calibration, to calibrate infrared thermometers, and even to use as an ITS-90 Fixed Point System with calibration uncertainties as small as 0.0005°C. With excellent stability and distributed heating/cooling zones for good uniformity, these calibrators offer proven thermal performance and are easy to use.

The Calisto 4953 features a 35mm x 160mm calibration volume. Heating time is 15 minutes from 25 to 250°C, and cooling time is 25 minutes. Uniformity specifications at 250°C are exceptional: in liquid bath mode, radial uniformity <0.011°C and axial uniformity <0.02°C; in dry block mode, radial uniformity <0.02°C and axial uniformity <0.25°C.

Three models are available. The Basic model has a digital display of set and nominal block temperature and includes Cal Notepad software and serial PC interface. The Site model adds a single-channel indicator for a reference probe. The Advanced model features a three-channel indicator for reference probe and units under test, with automatic temperature cycling, secure data logging, built-in web server, and Ethernet & USB host PC interface.
