The Jetter AG JetSafeControl 110 is an integrated safety PLC that redefines the engineering experience for machine and plant safety automation. While it delivers the highest levels of safety integrity—certified to PLe according to EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL 3 according to EN 61508—its true differentiation lies in how that safety is configured and deployed. The JetSafeControl series moves away from complex, code-intensive safety programming toward an intuitive, graphic-based configuration environment that dramatically reduces engineering time and the potential for human error.

At the heart of the JetSafeControl 110 is the JetSafe software tool, which provides a drag-and-drop interface for configuring safety functions. All major safety devices—light curtains, door contacts, enabling keys, and emergency stop devices—are preconfigured and can be selected by clicking the corresponding icon. In the function chart, monitoring functions such as SS1, SS2, SOS, SLA, SLS, SLP, SDI, and SSM are linked with logic operations using simple drag-and-drop gestures, without writing a single line of program code. The software automatically generates a terminal diagram, links the elements with the physical safety module, and creates the complete wiring diagram. Safety modules that have already been tested are managed in a library and can be reused across drives or projects, with the ability to define custom modules and protect them for future reuse.

The JetSafeControl 110 series comprises four models ranging in size from 100x115x45 mm to 100x115x122.5 mm, each tailored to different drive monitoring requirements. The 110-2-RS variant supports the safety monitoring of up to 2 drives, while the 110-4-RS and 110-6-RS models extend this capability to 4 and 6 drives respectively. All models support the full suite of drive monitoring functions to EN 61800-5-2, allowing parameters such as stops, speeds, accelerations, positions, ranges, and directions to be monitored in relation to each other and parameterized directly in the context-oriented JetSafe environment.

On the hardware side, the JetSafeControl 110 is built for modular expandability. The base system can be scaled up to 58 safe digital inputs, 22 safe digital outputs, 1 safe relay output for isolating circuits, and up to 6 signaling outputs. The JSX1-DIO22 expansion module adds 10 safe IOs (configurable as inputs or outputs), 12 safe inputs, and 2 signaling outputs, providing granular I/O expansion for complex safety applications. All major safety functions are already integrated into the firmware, eliminating the need for external safety relays or complex hardwired logic. The controller is programmed and parameterized via a serial interface, and its modular design makes it suitable for a multitude of industries, from discrete machine building to process plant safety systems.
