The ABB C1300 is a programmable circular chart recorder that accepts up to four process signals, combining traditional circular chart recording with advanced data logging technology from ABB's SM Series videographic recorders. This integration creates a labor-saving recording solution adaptable to a wide range of process requirements.

The recorder incorporates up to two graphical display panels that keep operators informed of process status. Each panel displays up to eight lines of descriptive text, simplifying both configuration and operation. The display technology enhances visibility in high ambient light conditions. A clearly labeled tactile keypad provides direct access for operator adjustments and configuration without opening the recorder door. Clear text prompts guide users through menus, and a password-protected security system prevents unauthorized access to configuration settings.

Each pen includes standard I/O with universal input (thermocouple, RTD, mA, V, mV), 2-wire transmitter power supply, one relay output, one analog output, and two digital inputs. Optional features expand capability with up to eight additional relays, sixteen digital inputs or outputs, RS485 Modbus communication, data logging, 9-digit totalizers, math functions, and timers.

The C1300 supports up to 16 process alarms and 8 logic equations, providing comprehensive monitoring and control functionality. The unit is custom order and non-returnable. It is suitable for industrial applications requiring reliable process recording with flexible I/O configuration.
