The MadgeTech State101A is a low cost, state-of-the-art state data logger. The State101A is simple to set-up and requires minimal long-term maintenance. The 10-year battery life makes the logger ideal for long-term field deployment.

The State101A senses input transitions or contact closures from external sources such as transducers and/or state initiators and records the time and input state of the device when a transition occurs. The unit can interface with many different sources. Common applications for the State101A include heating and cooling systems, security systems monitoring pumps, power on/off, relay or dry contact closure and status or state recording.

In addition to a 10-year battery life, the State101A features a 4Hz reading rate, a multiple start/stop function, ultra-high speed download capability (115,200 baud), 406,323 event storage capacity, optional memory wrap, battery life indicator, optional password protection and more. Using the MadgeTech Software, starting, stopping and downloading from the State101A is simple and easy.

MadgeTech's easy-to-use Windows-based program features a variety of powerful tools, all of which work together to allow for the effortless creation and exportation of professionally formatted spreadsheets and customized graphs. Complex analyses can be performed with just one click of the mouse. In addition to data analysis, MadgeTech's software is used for the digital calibration of the State101A.
