The E+H Proline t-mass F 500 thermal mass flow meter is an inline flow meter with a patented sensor design that provides unprecedented measurement stability in thermal inline mass flow measurement. It compensates in real time for changes of process conditions including temperature, pressure, flow direction and gas type. Its innovative remote transmitter maximizes installation flexibility and operational safety in demanding environments. The F 500 flow meter features flexible, convenient programming based on 21 standard gases or freely definable gas mixtures. It allows measurement of utility and process gases as well as gas mixtures in small line sizes from DN 15 to 100 (1/2 to 4in). The sensor features a high level of process control with premium measurement accuracy and repeatability, and it provides reliable detection of process disturbances and reverse flow. Bidirectional measurement ensures high measuring performance. The sensor is also removable for easy maintenance.

The remote transmitter offers full access to process and diagnostic information via numerous, freely combinable I/Os and fieldbuses. The freely configurable I/O functionality results in variety and reduced complexity. The F 500 offers a backlit display with touch control and WLAN access, and the remote version features up to four I/Os. Measuring range is 1.1 to 8250 lb/h with maximum measured error for gas of ±1.0% of reading (10-100% full scale) and ±0.1% of full scale (1-10% full scale). Medium temperature range is -40 to 356°F with maximum process pressure PN 40, Cl. 300, 20K.
