The 3.1 A continuous rating (6.2 A overload) provides margin over the 0.75 kW unit for heavier product weights, faster line speeds, or roller friction buildup — without stepping to the 1.5 kW FSA ceiling.

Why 1.1 kW and not 0.75 kW?

The 0.75 kW drive works for standard straight-run zones with uniform product flow. But transfer zones, curve sections, and merge points see 30–50% higher mechanical load. At 1.1 kW (53.6 W loss, still natural convection), the drive handles those loads without tripping on overload — and without adding the cost, size, or fan complexity of a larger unit. The 0XA01 code straddles 1.1 and 1.5 kW — the "01" signals the upper FSA power band. For the OEM, the 380 × 156 × 129 mm envelope and 364.5 × 145 mm mounting pattern are identical to the 0XA00 units below it — one bracket design covers every FSA drive from 0.37 to 1.5 kW.
