The 6SL3520-1XH22-2AA0 is the 2.2 kW G115D distributed drive in FSB frame with hardwired I/O. At 11.8 A output and 425 mm housing width, it is the entry point to the FSB platform — the larger frame that carries the G115D from 2.2 kW up to 4 kW. Critically, this 2.2 kW variant is still fanless: natural convection alone handles the thermal load, as it does for the 3 kW FSB variant above it.

FSB entry — wider frame, same control simplicity

The move from FSA (380 mm) to FSB (425 mm) is driven by the larger power stage and heatsink required for 2.2 kW and above, not by a change in control philosophy. The AA0 hardwired-I/O interface is identical to the FSA variants: four digital inputs, one analog input, run/stop and speed reference over discrete wiring. This consistency means a conveyor system can mix FSA and FSB drives across different power requirements while maintaining the same wiring standard, the same commissioning steps, and the same spare-parts documentation.

Fanless at 2.2 kW

The 2.2 kW and 3 kW FSB variants share a key trait: they are the last two G115D models cooled entirely by natural convection. The 24 V DC control supply draws approximately 250 mA — no fan motor to power — which keeps the auxiliary power budget predictable across a line with multiple mid-power drives. The 4 kW FSB adds an integrated fan that nearly doubles the 24 V consumption to ~510 mA, a jump worth noting when sizing control power for a multi-drive conveyor section.
