Product Description
The Jewell Instruments DXA 100/200 Series represents the next evolution in high‑accuracy analog closed‑loop sensor technology. These force‑balanced (servo) accelerometers are fully self‑contained, requiring only a DC power source and a readout or control device to form a complete operating system. Available in single or dual axis configurations, they provide exceptional precision and stability for demanding measurement applications.
The DXA 100/200 Series offers field‑selectable input ranges of ±0.25g, ±0.50g, ±0.87g, ±1.00g, or ±2.00g, with an output proportional to acceleration and tilt angle sine. The sensors achieve resolution as fine as 8 µg, respond to velocity changes as small as 1 µg, and exhibit hysteresis less than 0.0005% of full range output. Vibration rectification is kept below 50 µg/G², ensuring reliable performance in dynamic environments.
Built for harsh conditions, the DXA 100/200 features an anodized aluminum housing with IP67 protection (IEC 529), and withstands mechanical shock up to 1500g (1ms half sine). Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 70°C. Digital outputs include RS485 and RS422, simplifying integration with modern control systems.
