The 6SL3520-1XH21-5AA0 is the hardwired-I/O variant of the G115D 1.5 kW FSA distributed drive. Delivering 8.2 A from the fanless FSA frame, it sits at the upper end of the FSA power range — the last FSA power step before the platform moves to the wider FSB frame at 2.2 kW.

Hardwired I/O for standardized conveyor modules

The AA0 configuration provides four digital inputs and one analog input for speed reference via 0–10 V or 4–20 mA. For conveyor OEMs producing standardized belt sections, this is the simplest control interface available: the upstream PLC sends a run command and an analog speed signal over discrete wiring, and the drive executes. No network configuration, no device naming, no GSDML file. This matters when the conveyor module is a self-contained unit with its own pre-wired control cable, shipped to site and bolted into place — the installer connects power and a multi-core signal cable, and the section is operational.

1.5 kW — the FSA ceiling

At 1.5 kW, this is the highest-power FSA variant in the G115D range. It still cools passively via natural convection — no integrated fan — which makes it the most powerful fanless drive in the series. The step to 2.2 kW moves to the FSB frame with a wider 425 mm housing. For applications where the motor is sized right at 1.5 kW and the environment values silent, maintenance-free operation, this is the drive that delivers maximum power without a fan.
