The 6SL3520-1XH60-3AA0 is the standard hardwired-I/O variant of the G115D 0.37 kW FSA distributed drive. At 2.6 A output, it drives fractional-horsepower motors on short conveyor sections, feeder belts, and diverters — the kind of application where a drive must be simple to install, invisible in operation, and interchangeable with minimal downtime.

Hardwired I/O at the low-power end

At 0.37 kW, the machines this drive powers are typically the simplest nodes on a conveyor network — a short belt section, a diverter arm, a reject gate. These applications rarely need the diagnostic depth of PROFINET, and their motors are often within 15 meters of the control panel anyway. The AA0 variant accepts a run command and a 0–10 V or 4–20 mA speed reference on its digital and analog inputs, requiring no more setup than setting the DIP switches for the signal type. For OEMs building standardized conveyor modules where every drive runs the same speed profile, this is the lowest-cost way to put a Siemens drive on the module without paying for unused fieldbus capability.

FSA fanless — zero maintenance by design

The FSA frame dissipates 0.37 kW of variable-frequency losses purely through natural convection. No cooling fan means the drive's only moving parts are in the electronics — there is nothing to wear out mechanically. On a conveyor line with dozens of these small drives, the absence of fan maintenance across the fleet adds up to a meaningful reduction in scheduled service hours. The 380 mm housing width is the narrowest in the G115D range, fitting into tight spaces between conveyor side frames.
