Product Description
When a conveyor section needs more than 1.5 kW but no space for a cabinet
The 6SL3520-2XC02-2AA0 bolts straight onto the machine frame instead of into an enclosure - it pushes 11.8 A from the FSB housing (425x180x134 mm) with no fan, replacing a cabinet-mounted drive that would need cooling and long motor cables.
Does it need PROFIsafe, or is hardwired safety enough?
This 2AA0 variant runs STO through the F-DI terminal. When the safety chain is already wired to the PLC fail-safe inputs, you get SIL 2 / PL d without a PROFIsafe F-address. Move to the 1AF0-class PROFIsafe unit in the same power when safety must travel over the network.
