For applications requiring reduced inrush current, Kaiyuan offers the KYK-R (soft start), KYK-B (variable frequency drive with ±0.02 MPa pressure accuracy), and KYK-Z (autotransformer) variants — all sharing the same enclosure platform and protection logic.

How does the KYK handle pump protection and alternation?

The panel provides full motor protection: short circuit, phase loss, overload, pump casing leakage, and motor winding over-temperature. Pump alternation logic rotates the duty pump automatically or on a timed schedule, with the standby pump taking over instantly on fault. Manual, automatic, and timed rotation modes are user-selectable. An integrated alarm outputs at ≥65 dB on fault conditions, and a BA interface supports building automation integration.
