The 6SL3520-1XM00-5AB0 delivers 0.55 kW in the G115D FSA frame with AB-suffix enhanced I/O — the mid-tier configuration for the smallest fanless G115D drives. Electrically identical to the 5AF0 at 1.7 A continuous (3.4 A peak), it provides the same motor control performance with expanded hardwired connectivity. The 1XM FSA enclosure (380 × 216 × 129 mm) mounts directly on the machine frame with IP65/IP66 protection and natural-convection cooling.

The AB enhanced configuration adds digital and analog I/O channels plus an additional STO interface beyond the AA base variant — suited for compact machines where sensors, actuators, and safety devices connect directly to the drive rather than a remote I/O block. For PROFINET-based architectures at 0.55 kW, the 5AF0 variant provides the network interface.
