The SITOP CNX8600 6EP4436-8XB00-0DY0 is an output expansion module for the modular PSU8600 power supply system. It adds eight individually protected 24VDC outputs — each adjustable from 4 to 28V and current-limited from 0.5 to 2.5A — bringing selective load protection and per-channel diagnostics to a centralized power architecture.

Modular System Architecture

Up to four CNX8600 expansion modules in any combination can be daisy-chained to a single PSU8600 base unit via the System Clip Link — a tool-free connector that carries both system data and load power. This eliminates the wiring normally required to distribute power to multiple load branches. Each output channel features electronic overload cutoff with a 3-color LED for local status indication.

PROFINET Integration and TIA Portal

Through the PSU8600 base unit's PROFINET interface, every CNX8600 output channel becomes visible in the TIA Portal engineering framework. Operators can monitor per-channel current draw, set voltage and current limits remotely, and selectively activate or deactivate individual outputs — including PROFIenergy support for shutting down unneeded loads during idle periods. NEC Class 2 compliance on each channel simplifies panel safety design.
