Why PROFINET on a 0.55 kW drive?

Even the smallest zone in a connected conveyor system benefits from network integration: the PLC sets speed dynamically based on upstream and downstream zone occupancy, reads motor current for predictive maintenance, and triggers STO via PROFIsafe without a separate safety relay. The AF0 variant also supports EtherNet/IP for plants standardized on Rockwell architectures. For hardwired control without a fieldbus, choose the AA0 or AB0 variant at the same power.
