Water and district-energy plants rebuilt their electrical rooms around one rule long before anyone called it an EMC strategy, and the rule still pays: suppression lives at the incomer, not in every drive. This build respects that — unfiltered power stage, serial protocols intact, terminals ready for the runs that need them.

The replacement case is where it earns its keep. When an ageing 110 kW pump drive fails, the site wants a like-for-like swap within the existing EMC design, not a filter integration project. 205 A LO at 400 V (180 A at 480 V) matches the duty class, BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU reconnect the BMS and SCADA conversations, and the DC terminals stay available if the motor is relocated further out. Nothing in the order number forces a conversation the plant already finished years ago.

What the drive still gives back is the part plants increasingly ask for: the 277 A maximum covers loaded starts, 90 kW in HO duty absorbs the transient peaks, and the integrated DC link reactor keeps the input side orderly — all in a 67 kg frame that two people can mount in a standard bay.
