What filling modes does the BX13 support?

Six built-in filling modes cover the most common gravimetric configurations. Four modes address open-container filling — coarse/fine dual-speed fill, single-speed fill with dribble compensation, and by-pass fill where multiple containers are filled in sequence. Two modes handle bagging/packing — net-weight bag filling and gross-weight bag filling. Flow rate monitoring, auto-tare, and totalising functions run concurrently with fill control. An electronic calibration function (eCal) eliminates the need for test weights during commissioning.

How does the BX13 connect to plant networks?

Modbus RTU over RS-485 is standard on every unit, supporting up to 31 controllers on a single bus at baud rates from 1200 to 115,200. For higher-level integration, optional fieldbus modules add EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, PROFIBUS, CANopen, CC-Link, or Modbus TCP — making the BX13 a drop-in digital filling station on virtually any plant network. Load cell connection uses 4 or 6-wire technique with cable runs up to 1,000 metres, and the IP65 stainless steel front panel withstands washdown environments common in food and chemical filling.
